What's the Buzz?Emily is one artist who’s not content to just sit behind an easel. She’s out in the world contributing to causes and making connections that contribute to the health of people and pets from coast to coast and getting noticed near and far.

Emily does, which is why she’s a fan of Canine Companions for Independence, www.cci.org a national non-profit organization providing highly trained assistance dogs to enhance the lives of people with disabilities. Emily donated a commissioned oil painting to the silent auction held in conjunction with the sixth annual Athens Run for the Dogs, a 5K race benefiting CCI’s Greater Atlanta Chapter. Looking for a lab? Check out Labrador Friends of the South, Inc., an organization dedicated to rescuing homeless labs across the Southeast. Emily donated a pencil drawing of a black Lab to further the cause of her Labrador Friends. Wishing for a Westie? The West Highland White Terrier Club of Greater Atlanta, Inc. , was recently honored by JustDogBreeds.com for success in rescuing Westies. Emily donated a commissioned oil painting for the silent auction at the club’s annual fundraiser.
